The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Virginia seeks applicants to fill a tenure-ineligible clinical faculty position as a member of the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology in Charlottesville, VA.

The faculty member will be engaged in the full spectrum of general obstetric and gynecologic practice in an academic environment and will join a group of eight generalist faculty. Clinical duties will include an office-based practice, as well as performing gynecologic surgery and covering Labor and Delivery, including in-house call. In addition, the faculty member will participate in undergraduate and graduate medical education. Rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications and experience. 

Candidates must have a MD and be board-certified or an active candidate for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The incumbent must have excellent clinical skills and enthusiasm for Medical Education; an interest in clinical research is desirable. Skills in minimally invasive surgery and academic experience are preferred.
