The University of Wisconsin Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in Madison, Wisconsin is recruiting full scope, full-time generalists. As part of UW Health, we are the largest generalist group in the community. The ideal candidate will be an academic generalist who is energetic, motivated, and dedicated to outstanding patient care and education, and will be an established clinician with 5 or greater years’ experience in general obstetrics and gynecology. Recent graduates from an accredited residency program are also encouraged to apply. The candidate should be comfortable working in a high acuity OB and GYN environment, teaching and managing operative vaginal deliveries, complications of intrapartum obstetrics, and gynecologic emergencies. In addition, the candidate will provide high quality inpatient care at Meriter-UnityPoint hospital and, comprehensive ambulatory care at one of our eight locations maintaining a full panel of obstetric and gynecologic patients. An enthusiastic commitment to teach and supervise residents and medical students is essential. Board certification or eligibility with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology is required. Academic Rank will be commensurate with the qualifications and achievements of the individual.
