Required Qualifications: Board Eligible or Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. New York State Licensure or eligibility for one. M.D. or equivalent.

Responsibilities & Requirements: The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine is seeking one Obstetrical Specialist and five Laborists to join its expanding practice in Suffolk County. The selected incumbents will be responsible for ambulatory and/or inpatient case management; participation in teaching activities with fellows, residents and medical students; and involvement in University and Hospital committees.
• The Obstetrical Specialist position will be focused on obstetrical practice with it being a combined laborist position (2-3 twelve to thirteen hour inpatient Labor & Delivery shifts/week - flexible AM/PM shifts) AND obstetrical outpatient practice (1-2 days/week).
• The Laborist positions will be focused on obstetrical practice solely as it pertains to inpatient on Labor & Delivery, AM/PM shifts.
Special Notes: This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
