Chair, OB/GYN: Director Women’s Services. Advised by Boston-based, Massachusetts General Hospital, JIH is the first JCI accredited, private, tertiary care hospital and health system in Shanghai. More than that, it is the first of its kind in China, described as a multi-site, vertically integrated “ecosystem,” based on a culture of collaboration and patient/family focus. This Chair will lead the development of women’s services, with an early focus on establishing routine diagnostic and preventative care and US caliber OB programs, then further growth into IVF, endocrine and cardiology. Embedded in JIH, are research and education missions. Successful executives in Jiahui are collaborative, team-based, mission-focused, tenacious and able to lead through influence. Chinese language skills are not required. Board Certification and a desire to remain clinically active are essential. Administrative experience in programmatic development, recruitment, creation of clinical protocols and quality/safety standards is ideal. This individual needs to have the ability to navigate an international start-up opportunity.
