2016 SASGOG Annual Meeting

Leadership for the Academic Specialist
THANK YOU for making our SASGOG Fourth Annual Meeting such a SUCCESS!

Policy, Diversity, Negotiation, Advocacy

The SASGOG 4th Annual Meeting will focus on leadership. The meeting will help the academic specialist in general obstetrics and gynecology to advance their career through contributions to the profession, the institution and the community. Sessions will address advocacy at both a national and local level and will give members an opportunity to learn how specialists with an interest in advocacy can best start work in this area. Sessions on diversity and negotiation will focus on skills and knowledge that are important for personal growth and also for the growth of our specialist divisions. For the first time the meeting will offer a workshop specifically designed for Division Directors that will cover topics such as division finances, working with struggling faculty and other critical subjects.
