Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC) is seeking a BC/BE specialist in general obstetrics and gynecology to join the full time teaching faculty at our new ACGME-accredited residency training program based in Santa Maria, California. The program had a highly successful recruitment process and we are pleased with having matched 3 exceptional candidates to fill our inaugural intern class. Brief Hospital Overview
Marian Regional Medical Center, a Level III Trauma Center in Santa Maria, is a 191-bed hospital that offers state of the art facilities for our nearly 3.000 annual births. The obstetric unit is comprised of 42 labor, delivery and recovery rooms, in addition to a 21 bed Level III NICU. MRMC also provides 24-hour in house OB hospitalist support. In advancing our minimally invasive surgical options for patients, the hospital recently upgraded from the da Vinci Si robot to the Xi platform with dual consoles. That said, many surgeons continue to hone their skills in traditional laparoscopic and vaginal surgical techniques.
