Full-time academic specialist in general Gyn/Ob

 

The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking a full time academic specialist in general Gyn/Ob to join the faculty at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.  Our hospital is one of two tertiary teaching hospitals in the Johns Hopkins Health System.  The Medical Center is located on a 130-acre campus on the eastern edge of Baltimore City and serves a diverse patient population.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and established team in a department with a strong commitment to the practice of general gynecology and obstetrics. Our division has a strong community-based clinical program within the context of a collegial academic environment. Our faculty members are dedicated to patient care, biomedical research, and medical education.  Clinical duties include the full spectrum of general gyn/ob practice, including inpatient and ambulatory care of gyn/ob patients, gynecologic surgery, and coverage of a busy labor and delivery unit (with a level III NICU).  Duties also include participation in the educational programs of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, including teaching residents and medical students. 

The successful applicant will be an Academic Generalist in Gyn/Ob with a strong commitment to clinical care, teaching, and research. Applicants must be board certified (or board eligible with Active Candidate status) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  This is a tenure-track position.  Rank will be commensurate with the qualifications and achievements of the individual.

Director, General Obstetrics and Gynecology Division

TENNESSEE- Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Director for its General Obstetrics and Gynecology Division. The candidate should be Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level, depending on experience and qualifications.
The Generalist Division is comprised of 20 physicians & 32 advanced practice providers (WHNPs & CNMs) and boasts several robust sections, including Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology, a Maternal Addiction Recovery Program, PCOS clinic, Complex Family Planning clinic, Colposcopy clinic, as well as inpatient & outpatient general obstetrics and gynecology. Our outpatient enterprise spans 6 locations, all contributing to deliveries and surgeries at Vanderbilt University Hospital, which is currently undergoing a renovation of the Women’s Services unit.
Responsibilities will include recruitment of new faculty for our continued expansion, academic mentoring of junior faculty, template review, provider deployment, schedule oversight, QA representation, teaching OBGYN residents and medical students, and collaborating with our highly-integrated advanced practice providers.

Strong clinical experience in both obstetrics and gynecology is needed in this position, as is leadership and teaching experience in a high-volume academic environment. The ability to promote and implement scholarly activity (i.e. clinical research, quality improvement, curriculum development, simulation) is encouraged.

Overview:
The department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine is seeking a full-time specialist in general academic obstetrics and gynecology to support expanding clinical services and a newer residency program. Responsibilities:
