The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking an outstanding clinician and educator to join the Department as faculty in the Division of Academic Specialists of General Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Subspecialty expertise is not required but could be incorporated into this position.  Faculty rank/track will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate experience and excellence in general obstetrics and gynecology, including ambulatory care, gynecologic surgery and inpatient obstetrical care.  Experience teaching, and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows preferred.  Experience in clinical research is preferred.

Qualifications: Candidate must have MD degree or equivalent, be eligible for unrestricted medical license in Illinois, and be Board Certified/Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Spanish-speaking  is advantageous.

  • The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine at Peoria is seeking an obstetrician/gynecologist to serve as a non-tenured, clinical discipline track faculty at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Professor.  
  • Candidates must have a MD/DO degree, be board certified or eligible, and licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois. 
  • The position will supervise and educate OB/GYN residents in out-patient clinics, in-patient services, labor & delivery, and surgery. Opportunities exist for clinical research. Prior experience in graduate medical education is highly desirable.

UIC has a large medical school and OB/GYN faculty are actively involved with teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. In addition to general OB/GYN, the Division has Global Women’s Health, Family Planning and Urogynecology Sections.  The Department has a OB/GYN Residency Program with 7 residents per year.       

The ideal candidate must demonstrate experience and excellence in general obstetrics and gynecology, including ambulatory care, gynecologic surgery and inpatient obstetrical care.  Experience teaching/supervising and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows preferred.  Expertise in gynecologic ultrasound and early OB (<14 wks) desired.

General Obstetrician/Gynecologist- Academic Position UCSF

 

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of California San Francisco is seeking a board certified/eligible ObGyn Generalist at the level of Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor to join the Generalist Division.

The primary focus of the Generalist will be the clinical care of general obstetrical and gynecologic patients at UCSF. Clinical responsibilities will include office practice in general obstetrics and gynecology, office-based procedures, gynecological surgery and inpatient obstetrics.

The successful applicant will demonstrate an aptitude for and dedication to medical education including direct teaching of medical students and residents.

Candidates must have demonstrated capability and experience in providing evidence-based and patient-centered ObGyn care and in collaborating and coordinating care in clinical teams that enhance the patient experience with a commitment to excellence in clinical care, patient safety, and patient satisfaction.
