SASGOG Presents –

Underserved Care, Health Disparities Magnified, a Virtual Exchange

This interactive seminar will include a 20 minute “TED Talk” followed by small group discussion based on your areas of interest. Groups will be facilitated by subject matter specialists with the goal that we will all learn from the collective experience of our SASGOG audience members.

Our discussion on Underserved Care will be kicked off by Dr. Andrea Knittel, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of General Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and Medical Director for Incarcerated Women's Health at the North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women.

Dr. Knittel will present her perspective on Underserved Care and pose questions to explore in small discussion groups. This is a great opportunity to share your experiences as well as learn from the experiences of others across the country.

Participation is free and open to Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Date: Thursday, May 28, 6 – 7:15PM Central
